I was going strong there for a while and then it happened. It seemed that the blog topics seemed to keep coming to me but there just seemed to be so many distractions. One right after another they just piled up.
Anyway, one night last week I had the opportunity to take in a high school softball game for the Murphy twins (pictured above). A win and they would go to the state softball championship. A lose and the season ends. This is the classic, sporting moment - win or go home. I was really proud to watch these freshmen girls give it their all and compete at such a high level. The have a lot of high school softball ahead of them and I think that this experience will propel them to one day win the state title.
On this occasion though the Urbana girls softball suffered a 7-4 loss in extra innings. Sorry girls.
In other news from last week we made a quick trip late Friday night to Lynchburg to move Davis, Jill and Jackson back to Frederick. It is great to have them back in Frederick. Pray for them as they get re-acclimated!
